Weight Management

X. Gelice Pace is the owner of Absoulte Fitness and despite the way it feels, losing weight isn't a mysterious process. It's a simple matter of burning more calories than you eat. But, if it were really that simple, none of us would have a weight problem, would we? Weight loss can be such a struggle that we start thinking we have to do something drastic to see results -- diets, pills or those weird fitness gadgets on infomercials that promise instant success.

The true secret to weight loss is this: Make small changes each and every day and you'll slowly (but surely) lose those extra pounds. The key is to forget about instant results and settle in for the long run.

HPV and Disease Prevention

Brandy Michelle Ford is not only President and CEO of one of the fastest growing non-profit young ladies outreach programs in the city of Atlanta, GA, but she has been afforded the opportunity to work in all aspects of community outreach for the past 12 years. She began working with youth at an early age with her parents who are pastors in their own right. But from this experience over the years it has broaden her perspectives in gaining a vast workable knowledge of community, corporate and outreach events.  It has given her the drive and motivation to go into areas where most people have not attempted in the past to go.  She is an innovator in a world in which many people talk about pouring into the lives of young ladies; Brandy is actually watching her dreams and her vision come to fruition.

Where everyone recognizes the problems that our young ladies deal with on a day to day experience, she is offering young ladies the opportunity to gain self worth, self discipline, hard work ethics, character building and things in which only most speak about and never fulfill.

A graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing, Management and International Business, and a second degree with a license in Neuromuscular Clinical Massage Therapy has afforded Brandy the opportunity to travel all over the United States and work with a vast array of professionals both in sports, entertainment and in the area of business.

Because of all of the above it has now afforded her the opportunity to develop her own marketing and event planning company, B. Michelle Marketing, which was launched in 2008.

Joyce Saint Cyr

Over her short lifetime, Joyce St. Cyr has seen the type of challenges that would break the spirit of some women. She’s overcome homelessness, domestic violence and teenage pregnancy to become a successful businesswoman with a positive message. She has emerged from her unique experiences with a desire to bring hope and inspiration to those who are facing their own struggles.

After a teenage pregnancy rearranged her priorities, Joyce went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting as a nontraditional student from Bernard Baruch College in New York City. At some of the top nationally recognized financial firms, such as Bank of America and Ernst & Young, she successfully managed business and audit projects, as well as end-to-end governance processes.  For over 15 years, Joyce perfected her skills at bringing together cross-organizational teams to effectively design and implement projects and processes.

She’s managed accounts over a wide range of industries including manufacturing, banking and entertainment. Throughout her accounting career, Joyce has been an instrumental partner in a variety of projects that focus on enhancing businesses and customer care relationships. Joyce brings a passion for providing the best customer service experience to each company she works with. In 2003, Miss Saint Cyr moved to Charlotte, North Carolina.

Wanting to combine her passion for stellar customer service with her commitment to community, she created Diversity Den Café in February 2005. Her commitment to the community is demonstrated by the coffee house that is sometimes a community center, sometimes a nightclub, and sometimes an office.

For Joyce, diversity isn’t just in a buzzword in her café, but a lifestyle. In her business, Diversity Den is about bringing together various ethnicities, backgrounds and experiences to one place. In her life, she has a myriad of experiences that make her an example and inspiration to others.

Stress Management

Managing stress is all about taking charge: taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment, and the way you deal with problems. The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun – plus the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on.

Our philosophy of Fitness is Beyond the Physical

Double Impact Fitness understands that wellness is not the result of one action or process, but a life decision and a lifestyle and attitude change.  By learning to synchronize thoughts (mind) with action (physical), and learning to listen to the inward voice of strength and peace (spirit), participants learn to renew.

It encompasses a balance between mind, body and spirit. Mind.. which is your belief, Body.. which is your lifestyle and Spirit.. which is your desire takes commitment, focus and discipline daily. We teach people through fitness to apply these philosophies to their everyday lives.

As we apply this philosophy to our lives, we are learning to live beyond ourselves therefore, the fruits of the spirit take a new meaning through physical fitness and lifestyle change thus allowing us to work from a deeper more rooted place making results a way of life.

Working through hurdles.
I am living proof that God still performs miracles everyday...

Through divine intervention, I became eligible to be apart of a clinical trial for CHF(Congestive Heart Failure). I am a recipient of the Acorn CorCapSupport Device, www.acorncv.com, which is a meshlike stocking (similar to fishnet) that was placed around my heart to passively reduce its size from that of a basketball to a more normal sized heart. The procedure is experimental and has not yet been approved by the FDA.

I believe the device is being used in some European countries, however. The device was designed to help improve the quality of life for patients with CHF which is a chronic disease. I've learned that we must take very good care of ourselves, men and women.
Particularly women, because we are the caretakers for everyone we love and some we don't even love (let's be truthful here!).

Better Eating Habits

Developing healthy eating habits is simpler and easier than you might think. You will look and feel better if you make a habit of eating healthfully. You will have more energy and think more clearly. Your immune system will be stronger so you will not get sick as often. Healthy eating habits are your ticket to a healthier body and mind.

The Right Track Program

 Activity for Team Building

The Right Track Program. We tie worker productivity directly to the health care issues. We believe that traditional approaches to the current health care crisis are misdirected. These traditional efforts are what we call reactive--that is, they wait until after the worker has been stricken with illness or injury, and then pay for the necessary treatments. Our approach, which emphasizes prevention and good health promotion, is much more proactive.
